Funny Poem

I love poems that are silly. I saw this one and it made me smile. Hope it brightens your day also!!!

Say What?
By Bruce Lansky

One fine October morning in April, last July,

the moon fell on my window,

the rain shone in the sky.

The flowers sang quite sweetly.

The birds were in full bloom.

I dumped the neighbor’s garbage

inside our dining room.

My parents always praise me

for sneaking out of school.

They tell me not to study,

so I won’t be a fool.

My favorite food is spinach.

It makes my muscles small.

Each day I’m growing shorter—

soon I’ll be eight feet tall!

I’m saving up my money

to throw it all away.

I hope this poem annoys you,

so have a happy day.

I'm so glad you're okay and glad to know that you have a brain! :) This poem reminds me of one I learned when I was little: One bright day in the middle of the night, two dead men began to fight. Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other. A deaf policeman heard the noise and came to rescue those bad boys. If you don't believe this lie is true, ask the blind man. He saw it, too!
